Early Learning: At The Heart of It All! 2026 Conference


Discover the joy of learning and connection at the Early Learning: At the Heart of It All conference! Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This year’s theme, "Belonging by DesignPowered bSTEAM." emphasizes practices that celebrate playful and engaging STEAM opportunities, promote inclusion, and ensure equitable opportunities for every child, regardless of background, abilities, or learning needs. Come Count, Play, and Explore with us as we spend a whole day of professional learning with a focus on STEAM and inclusive practices. 

20 Breakout sessions will focus on high-quality supports to meet the needs of all children in a variety of settingsSessions include a variety of topics grounded in inclusive practices and STEAM for infants, toddlers, preschool, TK and kindergarten children, as well as their families and the caring adults who support them.

Who Should Attend?  

Child Care Teachers, Family Child Care Home Providers; TK, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Teachers; Family Friend and Neighbor (FFN) Providers; Expanded Learning Staff; Administrators; Higher Education Professors; college students; and others who support the learning and development of young children. 

$30 Registration Fee. There are no refunds 

Registration breakfast begin at 7:45 am. Program begins at 8:30 am. Registration fee includes parking, breakfast & lunch, conference resources and motivating speakers.

After completing your registration in the PLRS portal, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check the email you registered with regularly for confirmation and conference updates.

For presenters and special guests, enter your registration code that you were assigned under the P.O. Number. 

Limited scholarships available - The Sacramento County LPC is pleased to offer a limited number of HOIA Conference scholarships for Family, Friend, and Neighbor providers and High School students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs focusing on Early Learning and Care within Sacramento County.
