SCOE U: The ABCs of Awareness (SCOE ONLY)
Voices inside and outside of the academic community must emphasize that teaching history isn’t just about the past it’s about empowerment, identity, and future progress, it must be viewed as essential for understanding factual American, World and cultural history, dismantling bias, and inspiring resilience. This activity will be using the academia flash card template to illustrate history as a tool for communicating awareness, empowerment, and foundational value.
This particular form of creativity becomes a roadmap for addressing issues and dissecting obstacles in a graphic way, by using history and art as the connection to generations of problem solving solutions. This activity will illustrate how Art becomes a valuable asset to society by expanding the ability to communicate visually.
