Computer Science Integration (CSI)
Designed for CS, Science and Math Teachers of Students in Grades 6-12 | Sept 28 & Oct 12 | Redding CA
This Professional Learning course will give you examples of how to provide your students with an opportunity to use Computer Science Standards to investigate and solve problems in the world around them. We will experience why hi-tech solutions can be an avenue for bringing in Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities. Also, by using the micro:bit and modeling, we will apply measurement and data analysis to assist us in making safe decisions regarding natural phenomenon.
Participants will receive a micro:bit!
Please be sure that you are an educator within Glenn, Plumas, Siskiyou, Shasta, Modoc, or Lassen County before registering.
