Community Schools Through the Lens of Inclusivity and Belonging
A three-part workshop series focusing on the foundations of inclusivity and belonging in community schools. There will be a focus on understanding the context of community schools, emphasizing the importance of inclusive practices through the Community Schools Forward Framework. Strategies for overcoming barriers to inclusivity and belonging in the community schools work will be addressed, and best practices will be explored.
The workshop will explore creating a culture of belonging and discuss strategies for fostering a sense of belonging among students, families, and staff, including building supportive relationships and celebrating the diversity of all while building a community school.
