Building a Needs-Responsive LCAP for English Learner Progress


Description 

This session will focus on developing an LCAP that builds on the collective commitment of the District or Charter to develop an equitable, coherent, and sustainable system of services for Multilingual-English learner students. This session will draw from three main resources to help shape a deeper understanding of the new revisions in the LCAP  for equitable outcomes for multilingual-English learner students:

  1. The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Toolkit: Using research-based tools to promote equity for  English Learners

  2.  In Search of Equity for English Learners LCAP  Report,

  3.  California EL Roadmap Implementation Guides and Toolkits for Administrators

Districts and Charter leaders at all stages in the development of their 2024-25 LCAP are invited to attend this session.
