CA Math Adoption Series - Cohort A
***This series is intended for LEAs reviewing/piloting/adopting BEFORE the release of the State Board Adopted list in November 2025.
Join us for 6 Professional Learning Sessions in partnership with UnBoundEd and SCOE where you can learn how to "Identify and Evaluate Your Options" and "Select Your Best Fit" in anticipation of the newest Math Curriculum Adoption.
Attendance and participation in all 6 sessions is required.
Session 1 on 9/22/25 (9:00 am to 11:00 am) - VIRTUAL -Community of Practice
Session 2 on 10/25 - Date TBD (Time TBD) - VIRTUAL - Select Your Best Fit Part One
*Collaborate with your LEA Adoption Leadership Team to identify ways your LEA will investigate materials.
*Create a strong communication plan and community involvement for materials investigation.
*Select the ways your in which your LEA will gather data during materials investigation.
Session 3 on 11/17/25 (9:00 am to 11:00 am) - VIRTUAL -Community of Practice
Session 4 on 12/1/25 (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) - IN PERSON - Select Your Best Fit Part Two
*Prepare for your Adoption Committee analysis of data collected during materials investigation and research-based best practices to lead your Adoption Committee in making the final curriculum adoption decision.
*Collaborate with your LEA Adoption Leadership Team to begin planning in alignment with the best practices of change management and curriculum adoption.
