This session will address critical issues facing schools when dealing with bullying, cyberbullying, and harassment, including legislation, compliance, documenting and strategies.
Topics Include:
- The definition, early warning signs, and impacts of bullying
- Understanding and strengthening existing policies and protocols around bullying
- Planning and implementing effective training for parents, staff, and students
- Leveraging youth voices to reduce bullying
- Utilizing social and emotional learning for staff and students to build a community of belonging and safety
