Sacramento County READS (Spring CoP)

Join us for our Spring Community of Practice! Let’s learn together with Dr. Sarah Brown, President of System Impact Consulting, as we dive into MTSS for School and District wide Literacy Success. Following Sarah’s keynote, we will collaborate in team time and across LEAs. 
 
Sessions are designed for LEA literacy leadership teams. Team members may include: Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, Site Leaders, Instructional Coaches. We also encourage LEA Elementary and Secondary leaders in Curriculum & Instruction, Equity, MTSS, Special Education, Multilingual Education, Early Learning, Expanded Learning, and Assessment & Research to attend.

Sarah Brown, PhD, is a consultant and co-author of the books Effective Universal Instruction and the new book, MTSS for Reading Improvement. She empowers schools to maximize reading growth through data-driven MTSS with her MTSS Data Academy. During her over 20 year career in data-driven instruction, she has served in roles including the Bureau Chief leading Special Education and MTSS implementation for Iowa, Special Education Director, Professional Learning Administrator, and School Psychologist. She also led customer education and MTSS within K-12 education technology companies. Dr. Brown is passionate about empowering systems to improve outcomes for every learner.
