CTE Administrator Community of Practice AND CTE Regional Advisory

Join us for the Career Technical Education (CTE) Administrator Community of Practice meetings (September and February), and the CTE Regional Advisory meetings (November and April), where leaders in education from across the Sacramento region convene to exchange innovative ideas, share best practices, and collaborate on shaping the future of CTE programs.

Role of the CTE Administrator Community of Practice (CoP) and CTE Regional Advisory:

  • Serve as the official stakeholder group for local school districts in meeting Federal Perkins funding requirements
  • Fulfill the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) requirement for Perkins V - The Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) was introduced with Perkins V, which requires a diverse body of stakeholders to provide consultation and recommendations to help educators identify, understand, and prioritize the needs that districts and schools must address to improve performance and decrease performance gaps

  • Become Program Champions

  • Share Best Practices

  • Continually seek strategic partnerships with business and industry to ensure programs mirror industry standards
