Joyful Literacy Community of Practice
Join us for a four-session Joyful Literacy Community of Practice designed to deepen your skills and expand your toolkit for joyful, culturally affirming literacy instruction in early learning settings.
This series is open exclusively to educators who have previously attended the Joyful Literacy Institute or Saturday Academy.

What to Expect
In these four interactive sessions, participants will build on their knowledge from previous Joyful Literacy professional development to explore:
• Interactive read-alouds using culturally affirming storybooks
• Oral language development and vocabulary enrichment
• Social-emotional growth through storytelling and discussion
• Creative expression through play, writing, and the arts
• Strategies for year-round literacy integration in early learning environments
Eligibility & Stipend
• Open only to alumni of the Joyful Literacy Institute or Saturday Academy
• Stipend: $200 for attending all four sessions (no partial stipends)
• Cost: Free to participate
• Space is limited
