Students with Disabilities DA/CIM Network
The SWD DA/CIM Network supports LEAs in aligning Differentiated Assistance (DA) and Compliance and Improvement Monitoring (CIM) to strengthen outcomes for students with disabilities. DA provides targeted support, while CIM identifies priority areas based on data and compliance requirements. Together, they help districts connect findings to root causes, implement effective interventions, and monitor progress.
This year, the network will focus on reviewing Annual Determination Letters (ADLs) and analyzing local data to guide CIM plan development.
Participants will:
• Deepen understanding of how DA and CIM intersect
• Explore tools and practices that enhance compliance and outcomes
• Analyze data to inform CIM plans, including priorities from ADLs
• Collaborate to share successes and implement strategies
Who should attend?
LEA leaders and district teams responsible for CIM mandates, including administrators, site leaders, special education teachers, and general education teachers involved in data analysis, progress monitoring, and action planning.
